Sens. Butler, Smith introduce Pride in Mental Health Act – Beverly Press

U.S. Senators Sydney K. Kamlager and Rosilicie Ochoa Bogh, alongside Assemblymember Autumn Burke, have introduced the Pride in Mental Health Act. The act aims to promote mental health services for the LGBTQ community by providing culturally-sensitive care. The bill is also known as Senate Bill 221, or SB 221, and would require the State Department of Health Care Services to establish an LGBTQ mental health equity program.
